Little Elm has more Lewisville Lake shoreline than any other town around it, and the town has been built in two directions at once because of it. The Lakefront District along Eldorado Parkway is the older waterside core, with the beach park and marina; inland, Paloma Creek, Union Park and Frisco Ranch are large master-planned communities of two-storey homes that have gone up over the last twenty years, several of them still opening new phases.

Those two halves generate different work. Near the water, wind-borne grit and pollen land on patio doors and window tracks, and back entries collect sand and damp after a day on the lake, so glass, sills and hard floors take more of the visit. In the newer communities the recurring problem is construction dust from nearby phases settling on ledges, blinds and vents between visits, alongside a steady run of first cleans after closing.
