The Colony runs for miles along the eastern shore of Lewisville Lake, which is why so much of its housing is either on the water or a short walk from it — Stewart Peninsula juts out into the lake, and The Tribute occupies the point further north around its links courses. Inland, Austin Ranch is one of the largest apartment and townhome communities in the area, and Grandscape has turned the southern end of town into a retail and entertainment district in its own right.

Those three parts of town want three different visits.
